Job Summary

The Senior Recruiter will help lead and evolve Calcium+Company’s full cycle recruiting efforts. Supporting the Chief People Officer, the Senior Recruiter will own searches across all specialty divisions and departments—Creative, Strategy, Medical, Account, Operations, and more—partnering with hiring managers to identify, attract, and hire top talent in a fast-paced, healthcare communications organization.

In this role, you'll drive recruiting strategy, champion a best-in-class candidate experience, and help elevate our employer brand as we grow. Key Job Responsibilities (Duties may include, but are not limited to all or some of the following)

Recruitment Strategy & Execution
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for freelance and full-time roles across the organization.
  • Partner with hiring managers and leadership to define role scopes, build candidate profiles, and set timelines and priorities.
  • Craft job postings, manage sourcing strategies, and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates across disciplines.
  • Coordinate and conduct professional reference checks for finalist candidates, ensuring consistency and alignment with Ca+Co’s hiring standards before offer decisions are finalized.
  • Deliver a high-touch candidate experience, ensuring communication is clear, timely, and reflective of Ca+Co’s brand and values.
Partnership with Key Decision Makers
  • Build trusted relationships with hiring managers, advising on market trends, talent pipelines, and search best practices.
  • Serve as a proactive thought partner to department heads, helping them forecast hiring needs and build long-term talent plans.
Candidate Experience & Employer Brand
  • Ensure every candidate, regardless of outcome, has a positive experience with Ca+Co..
  • Represent Ca+Co at external events, panels, university sessions, and industry networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate on the development of employer branding content and messaging across platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, etc.).
Early Careers Program Management
  • Partner with the Recruiting Coordinator to lead recruitment for early talent programs:
    • Pharm Fellows (June–August)
    • Drexel Co-op Program (March–Sept & Sept–March)
  • Oversee sourcing, interview coordination, onboarding, and programming timelines
  • Serve as a point of contact for student participants and managers in setting mentorship expectations.
Process Optimization & Reporting
  • Maintain recruiting workflows in Jazz ATS and track candidate status across active searches.
  • Generate regular reports on open roles, time-to-fill, DEIB metrics, and candidate pipeline health.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to streamline recruiting processes, tools, and systems.

Job Qualifications (Skills/Requirements)

Required

5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within a creative agency, healthcare communications, or marketing/advertising environment.
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume requisition load across multiple departments and seniority levels.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, HRIS tools (Namely experience a plus), and sourcing platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Experience managing or supporting early talent programs a strong plus.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • A passion for people, culture, and finding the right fit—for both the company and the candidate.
