DIRECTOR OF INTEGRATED STRATEGY
Marketing & Innovation

As part of our growing Marketing and Innovation team, we're seeking a Director of Integrated Strategy to bridge brand, engagement, and omnichannel strategy to drive breakthrough marketing solutions.

Role Overview

The Director, Integrated Strategy is a cross-disciplinary leader who is both a creative problem solver and an omnichannel architect—able to connect insights, platforms, data, and experiences across the brand journey. They play a central role in shaping strategic direction, guiding creative development, and collaborating deeply across media, content, and analytics to ensure precision and performance.

As part of the unified Marketing & Innovation team at Calcium+Company, this role is designed for someone who can lead upstream thinking while also ensuring downstream activation—serving as both a strategic partner and implementation advisor. Key Job Responsibilities (Duties may include, but are not limited to the following)

Brand, Engagement & Omnichannel Strategy
  • Develop integrated strategies that connect brand fundamentals to channel execution, from positioning to omnichannel content flow.
  • Define modular content and omnichannel journeys that incorporate behavioral triggers, sequential messaging, and performance data.
Omnichannel Architecture & Activation
  • Partner with analytics, UX, and martech teams to design connected customer experiences across CRM, SEM, programmatic, social, and site.
  • Translate omnichannel strategy into clear tactical recommendations, content architectures, media briefs, and optimization plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as a strategic hub, shaping POVs and co-authoring tactical plans with account, creative, engagement, and media teams.
  • Act as a partner to platform experts, understanding the capabilities of our internal media and omnichannel services and helping operationalize the right channels for each brand.
Audience Insight & Journey Mapping
  • Segment audiences with precision and build journeys that reflect behavioral, emotional, and clinical realities across all stages of decision-making.
  • Leverage internal tools (e.g. Calcium Connect, Heartbeat Dashboard) to define trigger points and personalization opportunities
Strategic Direction & Creative Shaping
  • Deliver inspiring, actionable briefs that integrate brand strategy with omnichannel insights and channel-specific nuances.
  • Actively shape content across phases—campaign, always-on, modular—so it aligns with journey needs and KPIs.
Measurement & Optimization
  • Work with analytics partners to define success metrics and optimize programs in real time based on performance insights.
  • Help teams evolve from reporting to recommendations—connecting omnichannel performance to strategic decision-making.
Leadership & Thought Partnership
  • Lead workshops and collaborative sessions with clients and teams to unlock brand and channel clarity.
  • Contribute to broader team development through coaching, POV development, and shaping of internal processes and tools.
 
Qualifications
  • 6–8+ years of experience in strategic roles that span brand, engagement, and omnichannel planning.
  • Experience developing and activating omnichannel strategies in healthcare/pharma across channels (CRM, SEM, programmatic, social, content syndication).
  • Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams, including creative, media, analytics, and development.
  • Experience with key platforms and tools such as Veeva, GA4, Komodo, Clarivate, or programmatic platforms preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills—able to guide clients and internal teams through complex journeys.
  • A clear understanding of healthcare compliance and regulatory considerations in omnichannel planning.
  • Strong orientation toward building and refining processes, tools, and team capabilities.
