Job Summary
 

We seek a highly skilled and strategic Supervisor, Social Media & Influencer to join our growing social media team. This role is pivotal in crafting and executing innovative social media and influencer strategies that align with our client’s business goals, enhance brand awareness, and foster engagement with key audiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media management, content creation, and data-driven strategy. You are on-trend in the social and digital space, having your fingers on the pulse of the rapidly evolving social/digital ecosystem and guidelines for the health industry. You are laser-focused on delivering measurable business solutions for clients. 

 
Key Job Responsibilities (Duties may include, but are not limited to all or some of the following)

Social Media 

  • Develop data-driven, platform-specific social media strategies that support broader brand and business goals 

  • Identify emerging social trends and translate them into brand-relevant opportunities 

  • Craft social playbooks and strategic POVs for clients and internal teams 

  • Create paid social media recommendations and strategies 

  • Collaborate with the VP of Social & Influencer to build out team processes for the Social Studio 

  • Assist in managing partnerships with paid media vendors or agencies 

Content Creation 

  • Ability to research and write/advise on copy for client and Calcium+Company social media accounts 

  • Guide content calendars and community management frameworks 

  • Partner with Art, Copy, Editorial, and Production teams to brief, optimize, and refine content for organic and paid campaigns 

  • Provide strategic guidance on content performance and audience engagement patterns 

Influencer 

  • Lead the execution of influencer marketing initiatives, including creator identification, briefing, contracting, content co-creation, and performance tracking 

  • Collaborate on influencer strategy aligned with brand objectives and content needs 

  • Maintain active relationships with creators and influencer platforms to vet talent and negotiate scope 

  • Ensure influencer programs adhere to all regulatory and brand guidelines 

  • Track the performance of influencer content and prepare wrap reports with insights and optimization suggestions 

 
Job Qualifications (Skills/Requirements)
  • 4–5 years of social media and influencer strategy experience, ideally in an agency or integrated marketing environment
  • Ability to think critically and strategically
  • Extensive knowledge of paid/organic social mechanics across Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok, and emerging platforms
  • Demonstrated experience turning insights into content briefs or creative direction and leading kickoffs with cross-functional teams
  • Strong knowledge of platform analytics tools and social monitoring platforms (e.g., Brandwatch, Meta Business Manager, TikTok Ads, etc.)
  • Experience executing all aspects of a paid social media campaign, including targeting recommendations, platform selection, ad type selection, placing ads, and optimizing for performance
  • Ability to educate clients on compliance rules and the FDA and FTC regulations guiding social media and influencer efforts in highly regulated industries
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and client presentation skills
  • Team player with a growth mindset and ability to manage shifting priorities
  • Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and demonstrate initiative
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or other highly regulated spaces
