ACCOUNT SERVICES
Reports to: SVP, Group Account Director
The Account Director is an Account Services department position for someone with the ability and understanding to align both strategy and tactics with the overall brand vision. The person in this position is adept at creating the underlying strategies for the brand while taking on the larger role of executing large tactical initiatives and managing across multiple workstreams. The Account Director is the diplomatic face of the brand, both internally and externally, and acts as manager, liaison, thinker, and problem-solver.

Job Summary

The Account Director is the diplomatic face of the brand, both internally and externally, and acts as manager, liaison, thinker, and problem-solver.
Key Job Responsibilities (Duties may include, but are not limited to all or some of the following)
- Leads the team in a manner that encourages, executes on, and supports Calcium+Company’s ideals
- Maintains client confidence and rapport in business efficiencies. Able to offer guidance, vision, and insight on issues from strategy to competitive market events
- Serves as a master of the brand story, positioning, and brand strategies
- Provides master-level preparation tactics, including public speaking, presentation, and collaborative workshop presentations
- Partners in the development of the annual brand plan for the agency’s work, including staffing and scope-of-work, and successfully managing finances for the agency and for the client
- Identifies potential areas of growth in an existing scope as well as potential cross or up-sell with other brands’ key groups
- Enables and promotes confidence in both junior colleagues and peers. Manages, coaches, and develops team members
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of product, scientific data, strategies, and marketplace

Job Qualifications (Skills/Requirements)
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5-8 years of experience in the advertising industry
- At least 2-4 years of Account Supervisor experience in an agency setting is required
- Ability to think “bigger picture” on the brand and for the agency in a strategic way that has a measurable impact on business results beyond tactical execution
- Strong professional presence—possesses positive, inspirational qualities that motivate internal team and evoke ease and confidence in clients
- Possesses superior verbal and written communication skills, both with clients and internal brand teams
- Can mindfully manage deadlines, multiple tasks, and challenges
- Ability to travel (locally and nationally) up to 45% of the time
- Willingness to go beyond what is described in the job description and be flexible for the team, and ultimately, the work
