Reports to: Account Director
As a Senior Account Executive in Public Relations, you will be a key contact on day-to-day accounts, develop strong client relationships, and deliver high-quality client work. Working independently and as part of a collaborative team, you will manage multiple client projects and ensure they align with client goals and agency objectives. This role requires strategic and critical thinking, and you’ll play a vital part in mentoring, supervising, and developing the PR skills of junior staff, apprentices, and interns.
Your work may span a variety of tasks, requiring you to adapt to the specific needs of each project. You’ll be expected to understand and apply your knowledge to the overall strategies of both clients and the agency, enhancing the value and impact of each campaign.

Job Summary
As a Senior Account Executive in Public Relations, you will be a key contact on day-to-day accounts, develop strong client relationships, and deliver high-quality client work. Working independently and as part of a collaborative team, you will manage multiple client projects and ensure they align with client goals and agency objectives. This role requires strategic and critical thinking, and you’ll play a vital part in mentoring, supervising, and developing the PR skills of junior staff, apprentices, and interns.
Your work may span a variety of tasks, requiring you to adapt to the specific needs of each project. You’ll be expected to understand and apply your knowledge to the overall strategies of both clients and the agency, enhancing the value and impact of each campaign.
Key Job Responsibilities (Duties may include, but are not limited to all or some of the following)
- Act as primary day-to-day client contact, managing project workflows and ensuring timely and effective communication with clients
- Play a hands-on role in developing and executing strategic PR plans, applying critical thinking and strategic insight to achieve client objectives
- Mentor and guide junior team members, apprentices, and interns, fostering skill development and professional growth through constructive feedback and coaching
- Oversee multiple client projects, working with internal teams, agency resources, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
- Participate actively in client meetings, both virtual and in-person, contributing to strategic discussions and building rapport with clients
- Research, write, and edit press materials and content for patient communities, ensuring messages align with client and campaign goals
- Conduct media relations to secure positive coverage, integrating client messages and positioning
- Lead or support the development of social and digital media content, tracking industry trends to ensure relevance
- Manage project timelines, workflow, and team collaboration, adjusting priorities to meet client and agency needs
- Conduct monthly account reporting in partnership with finance, tracking key performance indicators and communicating results to clients
- Participate in new business research, strategic planning, and brainstorming sessions, contributing ideas for potential campaigns and business growth
- Collaborate with other divisions within Calcium+Company to leverage insights and resources across projects

Job Qualifications (Skills/Requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree required in Public Relations, Communications or a related field.
- 3-5 years of public relations experience, preferably in healthcare or pharma.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Strong writing, research, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively address complex healthcare topic
- Demonstrated strategic and critical thinking abilities, with experience in client-facing roles
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong mentoring abilities can guide junior staff and contribute to their professional development
- Adaptable and able to adjust priorities quickly based on evolving client and agency needs
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including FDA and HIPAA, is a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events
